What you'll do

The trend for sustainable farming has grown enormously in South Africa over the last decade and the farms that you’ll visit on this wine tasting experience are all fully organic or biodynamic, with some of the best practises in the industry. At Avondale, you’ll go on an Eco Wine Safari through the rows of grapes and taste the wines made according to the lunar calendar. There’s a chance to learn about the sustainable wine process directly from a winemaker (subject to availability) as well as tasting wines from South Africa’s leading biodynamic farming movement.
