What you'll do

Jump on a boat in Simon's Town and head out into the open ocean passed Cape Point, and after a few hours you will reach the continental shelf of Africa. It is here where fishing trawlers haul up their nets, and where you can see some of the most magnificent pelagic bird species in the world. Broad-winged albatrosses float over the waves, out of sight of land, while petrels and terns zip beside the boat in amazing aerial displays.
